Hilary Duff is pregnant with baby girl with boyfriend Matthew Koma

Dad-to-be Matthew also shared the news. "We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother... @hilaryduff another incredible chapter begins," he captioned the same photo on his own Instagram.

This will be Hilary's second child and the couple's first child together. She has a six-year-old son Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Her older sister Hayley gave birth to a baby girl, Lulu a few days ago with fiancé Matt Rosenberg. Hilary shared her new niece's arrival on Instagram too.

Duff and Koma have been in an on-and-off relationship, but recently rekindled their romance in October. "I got a really nice guy. He's so great," she told E! about her boyfriend this week.

The actress isn't afraid to get real about motherhood, whether she's shutting down mommy-shamers or empowering other moms through body positivity.

“It’s such a wonderful experience and obviously life-changing and altering,” she previously told HuffPost about having a child. “You just don’t even know until you have a child what that bond does, and how it changes you, and what you learn.”
