Late comedian-actor Don Rickles had not recorded his role for the fourth installment of 'Toy Story', his representative told hollywoodreporter.com.
The actor was set to voice the character in the upcoming fourth installment of the Pixar series, which is set to be co-directed by John Lasseter and Josh Cooley for a 2019 release.
The plot for the film and how big of a role Mr. Potato Head plays in it are still unknown, but it is possible that Rickles could still be included in 'Toy Story 4', using previously recorded material from the prior films.
Rickles had first voiced Mr. Potato Head in the Lasseter-directed original (1995) 'Toy Story'.
