16 Europa League: Manchester United at least beat Midtjylland; earn last 16 spot

Under performing Manchester United injected life into their dismal campaign with a 5-1 win over FC Midtjylland of Denmark. Debutant Marcus Rashford scored two goals after United opened the scoring with an own-goal.

Ander Herrera converted a penalty in the second half, before Memphis Depay sealed the deal for United with a well taken long range goal.

The victory will come as a relief for under-fire manager Louis Van Gaal, as the team now shift their attention temporarily to the Premier League in a bid to earn a top four finish.
