UPSC (Prelims) CS exam 2016 Results Declared! Check candidates selected for Mains!

UPSC Prelim exam results 2016 out!

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of civil services preliminary examination today on 16 September. UPSC exams are conducted to select Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, among others.

UPSC exams are conducted in three stages: Preliminary, Main and Interview. Today evening, the results of UPSC Preliminary exams were declared. The exam was held on 7 August, 2016.

UPSC has released a list of roll numbers for candidates who have qualified for admission in CS(M) 2016 Examination.

According to a release by UPSC, "The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the website before filling up the online detailed examination form."

"Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through CS (P) Examination, 2016 will be uploaded on the Commission website i.e., www.upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of CS(M) Examination, 2016 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result of Civil Services Examination, 2016," it further stated.

The e-admit card, along with the time table of the main examination, will be uploaded on the Commission's website --www.upsc.gov.in -- to the eligible candidates about two weeks before the exam begins.

Successful candidates have been asked to fill a detailed application form, which will be available on the website of the Commission from October 7 to 20, till 6.00 PM, for the civil services main examination.

Candidates are also informed that marks, cut-off marks and answer keys of screening test will be uploaded on the Commission website only after the declaration of final result of Civil Services Examination, 2016, the Commission said.

The Commission has a facilitation counter near the examination hall building on its campus at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi.

Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their result on all working days between 10 AM and 5 PM, in person or calling on telephone numbers 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from the facilitation counter.

They can also obtain information regarding their result by accessing to the UPSC's website.
