UPSC Civil Services Exam Result 2019: Pradeep Singh tops; here’s how to check result

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Civil Services exam 2019 results on its official website today. Pradeep Singh has topped the UPSC 2020 exam.

Pratibha Verma is the topper among women candidates.


This year, a total of 828 candidates have been selected for various Civil Services 2019 through the edition of the exam.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result at UPSC at upsc.nic.in.

Here’s how to check the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019:

1. Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on the result link
3. Submit your details asked on the page
4. Click on ok
5. Result will appear on the page
6. Download your score

UPSC Selection Procedure:

The selection to the UPSC civil services positions based on the basis of the result of the written part of the Civil Services Examination 2019 and the interviews or Personality test.

In the EWS quota, 78 candidates have been selected this year. While the result of 11 candidates has been kept withheld.

UPSC conducts the Civil Services exam every year for a selection of candidates to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Other Central Services.

The Civil Services exam 2020 was scheduled to be held on May 31. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the preliminary examination has been rescheduled to October 4.
