UPPSC PCS Recruitment 2019: Registrations to end today; know how to apply

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will soon close its application process for the post of PCS on November 11, 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies before the application window closed.

Under this recruitment drive will fill up a total of 364 vacant positions across the state. UPPSC has released job opportunity for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination-2019.


To qualify the exam candidates must appear for the Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment / Special Recruitment) (Preliminary) Examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage of Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Main Examination (Written) and Interview.

The selection for the post of PCS post will be based on the performance in three successive stages i.e. Preliminary exam (objective type & multiple choice), main examination. Candidates who will qualify the two stages will be called for interview/personality test.

Aspirants will require to appear for the two compulsory papers. The exam will be conducted via offline mode i.e. OMR sheet. The paper will comprise of 200 marks each and two hours duration will be given to appear for the exam. Both the papers shall be objective Type & multiple choice in which there shall be 150-100 questions respectively.

Timings of UPPSC PCS exam:

Paper 1 will begin from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. While Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates should qualify Paper II with 33 percent.
