UPPSC PCS Exam Updates: Important notification! New examination pattern releases for main exam; details inside

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC has released the PCS preliminary results on the official website and also released the list of the selected candidates who have qualified the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) prelims exam, earlier on 1st April.

Now, a new important notification has released by the UPPSC for those aspirants who have qualified the PCS preliminary examination and now, eligible to appear for the main written examination.


As per the new notification, candidates would find some new major changes to the PCS main examination pattern 2018 that will be held in the month of June 2019.

 

 

As per the notification, the main written exam will consist of 20 questions. Out of the total questions, 10 questions will be short- answer questions while 10 will be long-type questions.

The Commission has also set a words limit for the long and short question and answer.

For short questions, candidates will have to answers maximum of 125 words while for long questions, candidates will have to answers up to 200 words.

These big changes to the PCS main written exam will definitely give a sigh of relief who were used to learn more and more...

This year, a total of 6,35,844 candidates had registered for the exam and out of the total registered candidates only 3,98,630 appeared for the prelims exam.

However, only 19,096 aspirants able to qualify the UPPSC PCS prelims exam 2018.

UPPSC conducted the PCS prelims exam on 28th October 2018.
