UP Board Exam 10th and 12th date-sheet announced : Here is all you need to know

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the date-sheet of class 10th and 12th examination. The date-sheet of board examination of both class tenth and class twelfth has been announced on UPMSP's official website.

According to the reports, the Uttar Pradesh board class Class 10th and 12th examination is going to start from 6th February 2018.

The reason behind why UP Board examination is going to start early this year is because the Uttar Pradesh government is planning to up the level of UP board to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) by inserting NCERT pattern.

Dinesh Sharma, the deputy Chief Minster of Uttar Pradesh said, “Earlier, UP Board students used to get nothing more than 60 per cent. After the new study pattern that will be introduced from next academic session, these students will also be able to secure 90 per cent marks like their counterparts in other states”.

The ministry also stated that they are trying their best to stop cheating in Board exams and to finish the examination on time. “Moreover, strict measures will be taken to curb cheating and the examinations would be wrapped up within a month,” Dinesh Sharma further said.

Not only this, but Mr Sharma also shared, UP government's plans to stop cheating, "School managements will not be allowed within 200 meters of exam centres and papers will be written under CCTV watch. A joint team of police, civil administration and education department officials will supervise the entire process."

According to the reports available, 26, 24,681 students had appeared for Class 12th exam and 34, 04,571 students had appeared for Class 10th exam last year.
