The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is yet to announce its final decision regarding the UP Board Class 10th, 12th exams. However, the board has made several announcements which UP Board aspirants must know.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, students and parents have been demanding to postpone or cancel the upcoming board exams as they feel that it is not safe to step outside the home due to the deadly virus.
UP Board Announcements on Board Exams 2021:
The Uttar Pradesh govt had already announced to postpone the UP Board high school or intermediate examinations due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the state. Also, notified students that the new schedule will be released only after reviewing the current situation.
Earlier, the UPMSP had announced that the board would be announcing its final decision regarding the conduction or postponement of class 10th or class 12th board exams by May 20. However, there is no announcement made by the board yet.
UP Board on fake exam date sheet:
A few days ago, a fake date sheet dated May 17 of the upcoming UP board exams was doing rounds on social media. However, UPMSP Secretary Divya Kant Shukla called it a fake sheet and said that no schedule had been released by the board yet.
“It is informed that the high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) examinations date sheet of the year 2021 was being circulated on WhatsApp dated 17-5-2021 which says that examinations will be held from 05 June 2021 to 25 June 2021. This timetable is absolutely fake. FIR will be registered against those who have circulated this fake news,” the Board Secretary said.
Therefore, aspirants are advised not to fall into the trap of fake rumours on social media.
Also, UP Board students are advised to confirm the source of information before sharing it with their friends or family members.
Apart from this, UP Board exam dates will be decided by the Yogi government only after the second wave of the pandemic subsides in the state.
Until the board announced its final decision about the UP Board class 10th or 12th exams, students should focus on their studies and keep checking the official website of UPMSP to know further details regarding the exam.
In the wake of COVID-19 spread, the Central Board of Secondary Education had already cancelled the class 10th board exams and many other state boards also followed the same decision by cancelling their Class 10th board exams. However, the UP board is yet to take its final call on the conduction or postponement of class 10th exams yet.
