UGC NET Admit Card 2021: Latest update on December 2020 and June 2021 exams; check details

UGC NET Admit Card 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET admit card 2021 anytime now. Candidates who are waiting for their hall tickets should keep their eyes on the official website of NTA UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, NTA decided to conduct the UGC NET December 2020 and UGC NET June 2021 exam together this year.

According to the official website, “UGC-NET is conducted twice every year. Due to the postponement of December 2020 UGC-NET in view of COVID-19, the schedule of June 2021 UGC-NET has been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the concurrence of UGC, has merged both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles so that they be conducted together in CBT mode.”

This year, UGC NET 2021 exam will be held in two phases. The first phase exam will be conducted from October 6 to October 8 and the second phase of the exam will be held from October 17 to October 19.

As per previous trends, NTA releases admit cards at least a week ahead of the examination. According to media reports, the UGC NET admit card is expected to be released on or before September 30.

UGC NET Admit Card 2021: Here’s how to download

1. Visit the official website of NTA UGC NET at ugcnetnta.nic.in
2. Click on the link which says NTA UGC NET Admit Card Download
3. Submit your login credentials security code, application number, and date of birth
4. Click on OK
5. Your admit card will appear on the page
6. Download UGC NET Admit Card
7. Take a printout for exam purpose

Note: Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card. In case of any error, immediately bring it to the notice of NTA.

• Last date for online registration: September 5, 2021
• Last date for submission of application fee: September 7, 2021
• Last date for UGC NET application correction window: September 12, 2021
• UGC NET Admit Card released date: September 21, 2021 (tentative)
• UGC NET Exam Date: October 6, 2021, to October 8, 2021, and October 17, 2021, to October 19, 2021

Until June 2018, the NET was conducted by CBSE in 84 subjects in 91 cities across the country. Thereafter from December 2018 onwards, the UGC- NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
