UGC NET 2017 admit card available for download @cbse.nic.in

Candidates appearing for Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE's) University Grants Commission (UGC) - National Eligibility Test (NET) can now download the admit cards at the official website cbse.nic.in.

Earlier, the admit card was supposed to be released on 21 December, but was delayed. UGC-NET 2017 will be held on Sunday, 22 January, 2017. The exam will be conducted in 84 subjects in 90 cities across the country.

Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination without admit cards and are expected to reach the examination centre half an hour before the exam begins.

As per the exam schedule, UGC NET will comprise three papers - first and second papers will be of 100 marks each while the third paper will be of 150 marks. Paper I will be from 09:30 am to 10:45 am, Paper II from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm and Paper III from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm.

CBSE UGC NET is conducted twice a year for the posts of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates with 55% in their master's degree are eligible to appear for NET.
