SSC CHSL Recruitment 2017: Application for 3,259 posts begins, check details
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has notified everyone that it will be conducting examinations (Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam 2017) for the recruitment of 3259 posts vacant for Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO).
People who are interested for the posts can apply for the posts online from 18-11-2017 to 18-12-2017. The submission process has already begun and the candidates can apply till December 18. The last date for the fees payment is December 20, 2017.
The Computer Based Exam of Tier-I will be conducted from March 4, 2018 to March 26, 2018 while the examination of Tier II (Descriptive Paper) will be conducted on July 8, 2018.

Age Limit
The candidate should be between 18-27 years of age as on August 1, 2018. Relaxation of age is applicable for SC/ST for 5 years, OBC for 3 years and for differently-abled candidates, its 10 years.
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed 2th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University for Post- 1 & 2. But for Post- 3, the candidate should have passed in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board.
Selection Process
The selection will be made on the bases of a computer-based exam, descriptive test, skill test and interview.
Application Fee
The examination fee for the candidates is Rs 100. However, there is no fees for women candidates of all categories and SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen.
