Just in - SSC CGL results 2016 on 8 November!

The results for the Tier 1 exam of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examinations will be declared on 8 November, 2016.

The SSC has issued an official notification in this regard. Read it here.

The results were initially scheduled to be declared this week. However, due to technical problems, the results have been postponed.

The SSC CGL exam was held between 27 August 27 to 11 September 2016.

The test is held to recruit candidates in Group B and Group C posts across various ministries, government departments and offices in India. More than 25 lakh candidates had applied for the test, of which 14,25,234 candidates appeared for the exam.

This year, the results will be published online. No merit list is expected to be declared. The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is expected to be held in November 2016.

In the computer-based test, selected candidates will be asked to attempt 300 questions in four hours. Candidates applying for Statistical Investigator Grade-II or Compiler need to appear for one more paper, Statistics, where they will have to attempt 100 questions in two hours.
