Indian Railways has recently announced the bumper vacancies on various posts. After huge protests made by the students for the changes in the examination. The government has given the relaxation to the students regarding the age limit as well as introducing another regional language.
Now, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has announced the biggest surprise to the candidates by announcing that the increased fees for the Group D exam will be refunded to the students after the exam. As students from reserved categories will have to pay Rs 500 while for the unreserved category they have to pay Rs 500 as examination fees.
However, Railway Minister said that the aspirants from reserved category would appear for the examination then their full fees will be refunded, while for unreserved candidates would get the Rs 400 out of Rs 500'. As earlier, reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 100 for examination.
At the same time, Piyush Goyal also said that there will be a qualification relaxation for its 62,907 vacancies of Group D recruitment 2018.
As it was necessary for the students to possess the ITI degree or equivalent to it, now all the candidates have the relaxation from it. Because Railway Minister said that after releasing the notification, he has been getting a lot of complaints from the candidates along with his party members regarding the changes in Group D exams. Therefore, Railways has decided to keep the minimum qualification for the exam only Class 10th. Now, anyone who is having the degree of Class 10 considered eligible for the post.
However, the last date for the application would also be extended for 15 days from the previous last date. Candidates notified soon on the official website for the latest changes.
The above two changes only made after the realisation by the Railway Ministry that they had not given enough time to the candidates to understand the change in the criteria.
