The results for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2016 for various zones such as Allahabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata are likely to be declared on Sunday, 6 November. The RRB NTPC (Graduate) CEN 03/2015 was released for posts of goods guard, junior accounts assistant-cum-typist (JAA), traffic apprentice (TA), commercial apprentice (CA), enquiry-cum-reservation clerk (ECRC), senior clerk-cum-typist, assistant station master (ASM). A total of 18252 vacancies were announced.
The RRB NTPC Stage 1 exams were held from 3 March to 5 May, 2016. Over 92 lakh candidates applied for the examinations. Of this, 56 lakh candidates appeared for the stage 1 exam.
The RRB NTPC stage 2 exams are expected to be held in December 2017. Under the stage 2 exams, candidates need to answer 120 multiple-choice-objective questions within 90 minutes. General Knowledge, Arithmetic (Maths), History, Politics, and Critical Reasoning will be a part of the exam syllabus.
