Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Popular Categories (NTPC) 2016 (Stage 1) exam result 2016 is out for Gorakhpur, Muzaffarpur, Bengaluru and Ajmer regions.

RRB Stage 2 exam: Number of qualifying candidates

  • Around 4,756 candidates have qualified for RRB Gorakhpur region.
  • Around 4,000 candidates have qualified for RRB Muzaffarpur region.
  • Around 6,300 candidates have qualified for RRB Bangalore region.
  • Around 20,000 candidates have qualified for the RRB Ajmer region.

How to check RRB NTPC result 2016?

1. First, log into the official website by clicking on any one of the above links.

2. Click on the results link.

3. A list of roll numbers will be published. See if your number is in it.

OR

Input your roll number and password.

4. The result will be displayed in front of you.

RRB NTPC Stage 2 exam

Railway officials will soon publish a notification, announcing the dates for Stage 2 exam. Keep an eye out on the official websites notification section. The exam is expected to be held in December 2016.

A total of 18,252 vacancies has been declared in RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories 2016. These are:

Enquiry-Cum- Reservation-Clerk (ECRC)- 127 posts

Goods Guard- 7,591 posts

Senior Clerk-Cum-Typist- 869 posts

Asst Station Master (ASM)- 5,942 posts

Traffic Asst- 166 posts

Junior Accounts Assistant-Cum-Typist (JAA)- 1,205 posts

Senior Time Keeper- 4 posts

Traffic Apprentice (TA)- 1,645 posts
