Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) result 2016 is expected to be declared in the first or second week of November. The results will be declared for regions
No official declaration on RRB NTPC results was made on the official websites till 31 October morning.
Over 56 lakh candidates appeared for the RRB NTPC exam which were held from 3 March and 5 May, 2016. Earlier, railway officials had told Catch that results will be declared in the first fortnight of October. However, they later said no date has been fixed for the results.

Last week, an official told Catch that due to several festivities in the current and next week, the results could be declared in November.
Once the results of RRB NTPC Stage 1 exam are declared, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for RRB NTPC Stage 2 exam, which are expected to be held in November, 2016. The results of the same will be declared in 2017.
However, looking at the fact that the results have been massively delayed, the exams will probably be held in December or later in 2017. In the second stage, aspirants have to attempt 120 multiple-choice-objective questions in 90 minutes.The exam will contain questions from History, Politics, General Knowledge, Arithmetic (Maths) and Critical Reasoning.
According to the figures provided by railway officials to Catch, more than 2.73 lakh candidates will be called for RRB NTPC stage 2 exam. A total of 18,252 vacancies were announced by the Railways Recruitment Board early this year.
This year, 92 lakh candidates applied for the RRB NTPC exam, out of which 56 lakh appeared for the stage 1 exam.
