RBI recruitment 2018: Application process for the Assistant post to start from Republic Day

The aspirants who are waiting for the recruitment in Reserve Bank of India(RBI), then we are having a good news for you. RBI has announced the vacancies for the posts of Assistant on 24 January.

The application process will start from Republic Day i.e. 26 January. So, the candidates who are eligible for this posts they can apply online by visiting the official website of RBI.


As per the official notification of RBI, there will be the vacancies for 27 Assistants in its offices across the country. Candidates who are interested in applying for the post must be graduate from a recognised board/university. Candidate will only be eligible if he or she has an aggregate minimum 50% marks and also having the Computer knowledge of word processing on PC.

Candidates are also informed about the last date to submit the application form i.e. 5th February 2018. According to the notification, this is a special recruitment drive for PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.

RBI circular also informed about the selection process also. The selection will be done through the Online Examination mode which consists of two stages:

1. Preliminary examination

2. Main examination

The above two-stage will be followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Pay Scale:Rs 14650/- per month (i.e. Rs 13150 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates) in the scale of 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990.
