Railway Recruitment 2019: This Railway division released new vacancies for Apprentice posts; 10th pass can apply
Indian Railways has released a job opportunity for the post of Apprentice. Interested candidates can check the vacancy details released by the West Central Railway in the following article.
As per the notification, West Central Railway has released job opportunity for candidates who have qualified class 10th and also possess ITI certificate in relevant trade.
WCR released a total of 160 vacancies for various posts.

Age Limit Required:
The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 15 years while the maximum age limit is 24 years.
Selection Procedure for West Central Railway Apprentice Posts
The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in 10th Class.
Eligibility Criteria for West Central Railway Apprentice Posts
Educational Qualification:
- For Fitter post – The minimum qualification required for the post is 10th or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in fitter trade.
- Pinter – Aspirants should be passed class 10th or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in Pinter trade.
- For COPA – Applicants should hold the class 10th certificate or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in COPA trade.
- For Welder (GAS & Electric) – Interested candidates should have passed class 10th or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in Welder (G & E) trade.
- For Machinist - 10th or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in Machinist trade.
