KVS Admission 2020: Application form for new session to be released this week; check latest update

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) admission for the session 2020-21 will soon start on its official website. Candidates who are waiting for the KVS 2020 admissions should keep their eyes on the website of KVS at kvsonlineadmission.in.

As per the official notification, the application process for KVS 2020-21 admission will begin from the first week of March 2020. The official announcement for the same is yet to be announced.


Last year, the online registration process for admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2019-20 was begun from March 1, 2019, and the last date for the submission of the online application form was March 19, 2019.

As per the media reports, the new academic session 2020-21 registration process will end in the last week of March. Candidates who will apply for KVS 2020 admission will be able to check whether they are selected or not in the admission list released by KVS. Reportedly, the admission list 2020 is expected to be released ten days after the application process gets closed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

In the KVS 2020, the admission list will contain the names of all the shortlisted candidates to the Kendriya Vidyalaya across India.

KVS Reservation Criteria:

As per the seat reservation norms, 15% seats are reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste while 7.5% seats are reserved for children from Schedule Tribe category. While 3% of seats are reserved for children across all categories for differently-abled children.

The admission process for KVS 2020 will be conducted until 30th June for all the Kendriya Vidyalaya.

In case, the total seats remain vacant then the Deputy Commissioner of a particular region can allow filling the seats until 31st July 2020.
