Cracking civil services exam is the goal of one and individual in the first attempt. However, there are very fewer people who become successful in achieving their target. We have seen many people from the small town or who are very poor but become the Civil servant all because of the hard work. Well, it is known by everyone that for clearing the Kerala Public Service Commission exam, everyone has to be surrounded with various books and has to do the properly planned studies. But, there is a coolie, a KPSC cracker who broke all such mentality and proved that it’s the dedication that always matters to your success.

Yes, you read right, a civil services aspirant named Sreenath K, who had become the inspirations for others after qualifying the written exam of the Kerala Public Service Commission. The special thing about him is that is doing a job of the coolie, Sreenath did the preparation not with books but through his phone and earphones.


Talking about the KPSC written test qualifier, he is a coolie and carrying heavy luggage at Ernakulam Junction in Kerala for the past five years which is his livelihood. Unlike his colleagues, he also carries the luggage on his shoulder and head during his preparation for the exam. Sreenath teachers speaking to him through the earphones.

Sreenath has the degree of class 10th and later, he took the advantage of the free WiFi Internet service available at Ernakulam station. The coolie said that he had appeared for the exam thrice but this is the first time that he used the free WiFi facility at the Railway station. He also told about his preparation that ‘I used to wear my earphones and listen to the study material while carrying the luggage and solve questions in my mind only.’ He further added that he revised everything at night whenever he gets the time for study.

Well, we must say he is a true inspiration for everyone who is preparing for the civil services.
