Job Alert! Over 800 jobs for TGT, PGT and other posts; know important details before you apply

It’s a job alert for those candidates who want to be a government teacher. Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), under the School & Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha has released a job notification and invited applications for 878 posts of TGT, PGT, and PET.

All the interested candidate can submit their application form at the official website of OAVS.

Check out criteria to apply for the posts released by OVAS:

For TGT posts:

Candidates should have qualified their class 10th in MIL Odia. Also, candidates who have not studied Odia as their subject class 10th must have qualified at the single subject Odia examination up to High School conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Cuttack, Odisha.

For Principal post:

An applicant should have a Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks in B Ed from an institution recognised by NCTE board and also affiliated to a recognised university.

They should have passed Class X standard in MIL Odia.

For Physical Education Teacher (PET) post:

Also, candidates should have a degree in Physical Education i.e. BP Ed/ MPEd from a recognised University/Institution.

Candidate should also have proficiency in teaching in Odia and English medium.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview.

Important dates to remember:

• Last date of online application: April 15, 2019
• Last date of submission of online fee: April 17, 2019
