Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi has released a job opportunity for the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and others. Candidates who are having interest in this latest recruitment drive of JMI can apply at jmi.ac.in.
As per the notification, the last date to apply for the post of Professor, Associate Professor is July 29th, 2019.
"Applications on the prescribed form are invited for the following Teaching positions in Jamia Millia Islamia so as to reach in the Office of the Recruitment & Promotion Section, 2nd Floor, Registrar’s Office, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025 on or before 29.07.2019 during working days between 10:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M Lunch break 01:00 P.M. to 02:00 P.M. (Friday upto 12:00 Noon). Application form, advertisement, and qualifications are available on Jamia’s website http://jmi.ac.in" reads the official notification.

Candidates who will be selected for the posts will get the per month salary as per the 7th Pay Commission:
1. Professor : Academic Level 14 (Pay Range: 1,44,200-2,18,200)
2. Principal (University Polytechnic) : Academic Level 13A (Pay Range: 1,31,400-2,10,800)
3. Associate Professor : Academic Level 13 (Pay Range: 1,31,400-2,17,100)
4. Assistant Professor : Academic Level 10 (Pay Range: 57,700-1,82,400)
