ISRO Recruitment 2019: Application process started for the posts of scientists and engineers; here’s how to apply

The application process for the posts of Scientist and Engineer has started by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Therefore, candidates who wanted to apply for the vacancy can visit the official website to submit their application form.

As per the notification, the last date to submit the online application process is 15th January 2019. Candidates will have to submit their application form at isro.gov.in.

Posts details:

  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil): 09 Posts
  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): 05 Posts
  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning): 02 Posts
  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture): 01 Post
  • Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): 01 Post

Age Limit:

For general category candidates, the maximum age limit is 35 years while for SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 40 year and 38 years for OBC candidates.

Some other important details:

A candidate will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee for the posts.

Candidates will have to send their documents to the ISRO headquarters on or before 21st January 2019.

Aspirants will have to appear for the written examination that will be conducted at twelve venues i.e. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
