Indian Army Recruitment 2019: Job announcement for unmarried men, women and widows! Check out posts details

Indian Army has released the job notification on technical posts on its official website. There is a job opportunity for unmarried male, female and widows also.

As per the notification, Indian Army has invited applications from Engineering Graduates and also for Defence Personnel for Short Service Commission Course (Tech) for widows.

However, the course of Indian Army's Short Service Commission likely to begin from April 2019.

Vacancies Details:

SSC (Tech)-

• For Men- 175 vacancies
• For Women- 14 vacancies

Widows of Defence Personnel-

• SSCW (Non Tech) - 1 vacancy
• SSCW (Tech) - 1 vacancy

Eligibility Criteria:

SSC (Tech)- For Men and Women:

Candidates who are having Engineering degree or are in the final years of Engineering can apply

Widows of Defence Personnel:

• SSCW (Non-Tech) – Candidates must be graduate in any stream
• SSCW (Tech) – Only BE/BTech in Engineering stream can apply for the post

Check out the important dates to remember:

• Online application process begins from 23rd January 2019
• Last date to submit the application form is 21st February 2019

Age Limit:

For SSC (Tech) -

• Men and Women – The minimum age limit for men and women is 20 years while the maximum age limit is 27 years.
• Widows of Defence Personnel - Aspirants should not be above than 35 years

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the aspirants will be based on their performance in interview.
