IGNOU Admissions 2021: Last date for July session extended; check new schedule

IGNOU Admission July 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended its last date for July 2021 admission. Therefore, candidates who are left to submit their application form can now apply till October 31 for ODL and online UG/PG programmes.

Interested candidates can submit their IGNOU July 2021 admission through the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

According to the official notification, “IGNOU further extends the last date of Fresh Admissions to ODL & Online UG/PG Programmes for the July 2021 Session till 31st October 2021.”

"In a particular admission cycle, facilities for fee exemption available to SC/ST students can be claimed for one programme only. If an applicant submits more than one application claiming fee exemption, all the applications shall be rejected,” notice further reads.

It should be noted that IGNOU has already closed its application window for admission to Certificate, Diploma, PG Diploma, and Semester-based UG/PG programmes.

1. Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in
2. Click on the link that reads, “Links for Online Admission Portal July 2021 Session for all the Programmes(Except Certificate) is extended till October 31, 2021”
3. A new window will open
4. For ODL courses, candidates need to visit the ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
5. For online courses, candidates can click on ignouiop.samarth.edu.in
6. Register yourself

Check application fee:

Candidates need to submit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 200 (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along with the programme fee of the first semester/year at the time of admission.
