IGNOU Admission 2018

The IGNOU admission has already begun for the various undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. Now, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched three new certificate courses for the aspirants who wanted to apply for IGNOU’s various programmes. Recently, the Open University has started courses like Certificate in First Aid, Certificate in Tribal Studies and Diploma in Event Management from the new session which is going to be started in July 2018.

According to the reports of TOI, for taking the admission in the certificate courses, UG courses and PG diploma courses then, the IGNOU will be going to exempt the admission and readmission fees for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). Therefore, there will be a sigh of relief for SC and ST students that they will be free from submitting the fees for taking the admissions.

The students who are also willing to take admission in the newly started courses like Certificate in First Aid, Certificate in Tribal Studies and Diploma in Event Management or any other then they have to contact to their regional centre in their own city.

The last date for applying the above courses or diploma and PG diploma courses is 30th June 2018. While candidates who wanted to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes then the last date for applications is 15th July, said sources.

All students are advised who are filling the form for such courses announced by IGNOU must carefully read the official notification by the Open University.
