GATE 2017 examination schedule announced; Check out the details

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the examination schedule for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. Candidates can check out the examination schedule on the official GATE portal.

GATE 2017 exam will be held on 4, 5, 11, and 12 February 2017.

Saturday, 4 February 2017

Session 1 (09:00 - 12.00 Hrs): Mechanical engineering, Architecture and Planning, and Textile engineering and Fibre Science

Session 2 (2 pm to 5 pm): Mechanical engineering, Agricultural engineering, and Geology and Geophysics

Sunday, February 5 2017

Session 3 (9 am to 12 pm): Electronics and Communication, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Ecology, and Evolution, Production and Industrial engineering

Session 4 (2 pm to 5 pm): Electronics and Communication, Aerospace engineering, Mathematics, Metallurgical engineering, Petroleum engineering, and Physics

Session 5 (9 am to 12 pm): Computer Science, and Electrical engineering

Session 6 (2 pm to 5 pm): Computer Science, and Electrical engineering

Sunday, February 12, 2017

Session 7 (9 am to 12 pm): Civil engineering, Chemical engineering, and Mining engineering

Session 8 (2 pm to 5 pm): Civil engineering, Industrial engineering, Engineering Sciences (A-H), Life Sciences (P-U).

Admit cards will be available from 5 January, 2017 while results will be announced on 27 March, 2017.
