DU Cut off 2018: Varsity released second cut off; admissions process closed in several colleges

The Delhi University has released its second cut off list for the aspirants who are waiting for it. However, there is a sad news for the candidates that some popular colleges of DU have closed its gates for the admission. Due to which many students' dream for getting the admission in the Delhi University’s colleges will remain a dream.

On Sunday’s evening, DU released the second cut-off, where the most of the DU colleges cut-offs dipped with a minimum margin around 0.25 to 2 per cent. In comparison to the previous list, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has lowered the cut off in Economics from 98.5 to 98.25 while for B.Com (Hons), the second cut-off to 97.375, a dip of 0.375 per cent from the first cut off.


Talking about the renowned colleges in South Campus, the cut off in Lady Shri Ram College for Women were released for Englis Hons at 97.25, Hindi Hons at 87.75, Philosophy Hons at 92.5, Journalism Hons at 97.5, B.A programme at 97.75. However, the seats for taking the admission in Psychology Hons, History Hons, Economics Hons, Political Science Hons, B.com Hons and Sociology Hons has been closed by the college.

DU’s Gargi college has released the second cut-off list at 96.5 for taking admission in Eco Hons, Sanskrit Hons at 50, B.com at 95, English Hons at 95, Hindi Hons and B.com Hons at 96. Those candidates who are planning to do the graduation in History Hons and Political Science Hons, their admissions have been closed now.

DU’s Gargi college has released the second cut-off list at 96.5 for taking admission in Eco Hons, Sanskrit Hons at 50, B.com at 95, English Hons at 95, Hindi Hons and B.com Hons at 96. Those candidates who are planning to do the graduation in History Hons and Political Science Hons, there admissions have been closed now.

However, students can take the admission to Hansraj College which offered the seats for the aspirants as it opened the gates for students to take the admission to courses like Eco Hons with per cent at 97.5, History Hons at 95.25, Sanskrit Hons at 71, English Hons at 96.5, Hindi Hons at 86, B.com Hons at 97.25 and B.A prog at 95. Whereas at Hindu College, the second cut-off reached at 97.75 for Eco Hons, Hindi Hons at 90, Philosophy hons at 91.5, Sociology Hons at 96, B.com Hons at 97.25 and English Hons at 97.5.

The second cut-off released by Kirori Mal College on Sunday, the cut-off list English Hons at 96, Geography Hons at 96, Hindi Hons at 88, History Hons at 95.25, Eco Hons at 97.25, B.com at 96.25, B.com Hons at 97 and BA Programme at 94.75. However, the admission process for the Sanskrit and Urdu Hons at KMC have been closed.
