DSSSB Recruitment 2019: Vacancies released for 982 teacher post to be closed soon; salary upto Rs 34,000

Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) will soon close its registration window for the post of PRT, nursery teacher and another post. Interested aspirants should apply for the vacancies available at dsssb.delhi.gov.in or dsssbonline.nic.in.

The last date to apply for the vacancies is October 15, 2019. DSSSB has released a total of 982 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Teacher for primary, nursery and for Junior Engineer (civil).


To get selected for the posts, aspirants will have to qualify for the two-tier recruitment examination.

Total – 982 vacancies

  • Assistant teacher (primary) – 637
  • Assistant teacher (nursery) – 141
  • Junior Engineer (civil) – 204

Eligibility Criteria Required for DSSSB Teacher:

Educational Qualification Required:

  • For teacher post: Application should have cleared the TET exam and also passed Hindi or Urdu or English or Punjabi as a subject at the secondary level. Also, he/she should hold a two-year diploma in elementary education.
  • For junior engineer post: Candidates should have a relevant degree in engineering or a three-year diploma in civil engineering.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit required to apply for the post of a teacher as well as a junior engineer (JE) exam is 30 years.

Candidates will have to pay one-time, non-refundable application fee of Rs 100.

Delhi DSSSB teacher recruitment 2019: Salary Details

Candidates who will be selected for the post will get a salary of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 with additional grade pay of 4,200.
