Amid speculations about CBSE Class 10th, 12th board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released an important notification to alert parents, students, teachers, schools, and parents regarding board exam dates.
The notification is regarding the fake circulars which are doing the rounds on social media about CBSE class 10 and 12 board and practical exam dates/months. Board clearly said in its notice that the circulated information is not correct, such information would create panic amongst the schools, students, and parents.
Releasing the notice on Thursday, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations said: “It has come to the notice of the CBSE that on several Social Media Platforms and in News Papers dates/ months for starting of class X & XII Board's examinations and Practical Examinations are being circulated. As these circulated pieces of information are not correct, hence, creating panic amongst the students, students, and parents.”
The Board requested to all its affiliated schools and students, parents, and other stakeholders not to believe in such fake circulars.
Therefore, for any official information regarding board and practical exam dates, students and parents are advised to visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in.
The notice further reads, “CBSE is well aware about the condition of the students and parents in the time of pandemic and therefore, whatsoever decision would be taken by the CBSE that will only be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders and will be communicated at an appropriate time through the Board's website.”
Meanwhile, CBSE has not announced any dates for board exams and practical exams, therefore, students should refrain from believing any rumours.
