Bihar Police Recruitment 2019: BPSSC to start registration for 2,446 vacancies, salary up to Rs 1.12 lakh

The Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) is all set to start its recruitment process for 2,446 vacancies today (22nd August) on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates should keep their eyes on the official website as the application process to start soon.

As per the notification, BPSSC invited application form for the posts of sub-inspector (SI), sergeant, and assistant superintendent at bpssc.bih.nic.in.

The application process will begin on August 22 and the last date to apply for the vacancies is September 25.

Out of the total vacancies, BPSSC has mentioned that 35 percent of vacancies are reserved for female candidates. To get selected for the vacancies candidates will have to appear for the three-level of the examinations i.e. prelims exam, mains exam and followed by physical endurance test (PET).

• Sergeant – 215
• Assistant Superintendent Jail – 125
• Assistant Superintendent Jail (ex-servicemen) – 42

Educational Qualification Details:

Candidates should hold the degree of graduation from a recognized institute.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required to apply for the posts is 20 years while the upper age limit required to apply for the post is 37 years for general category. For reserved category the age relaxation will be gven as per the government norms.
