Bihar Police Jobs 2019: BPSC released over 2000 vacancies; check post-wise details

Another major recruitment drive released for aspirants who want to be a government servant or want to join a police department. The major job vacancies have been released by the Bihar Police Services Commission (BPSC) for the positions of Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for over 2000 vacancies released at bpsc.bih.nic.in. The last date to apply for multiple posts is September 25, 2019.

Educational Qualification Required:

Candidates should read the official notification to know the education qualification required and also physical fitness required to apply for the vacancies.

Age Limit:

Candidates belonging to the unreserved category should fall in the age bracket of 20 years and 37 years as on January 1, 2019. While reserved category aspirants will get the age relaxation as per government norms.

Application fee:

General/OBC aspirants will have to pay Rs 700 while candidates of SC/ST candidates will have to pay Rs 400.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in preliminary exam and then Mains exam which will be followed by a Physical Fitness Test.
