After RBI governor Urjit Patel resignation, now Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Chairman Chandra Bhushan Paliwal has given resignation from his post. The reason he cited behind his decision is some personal reasons.

He was appointed as UPSSSC chairman earlier in January 2018 by the Bhartiya Janata Party Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Not only Paliwal but Economist Surjit Bhalla has also resigned from PMEAC (Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister) today.

However, the most resignation was Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor’s Urjit Patel who stepped down from his position on Monday. He had also cited the personal reason for his decision.

He submitted his resignation amid speculation of a rift between Urjit Patel and the Modi government.

UPSSSC is a government organisation, whose responsibility is to conduct various government examinations for appointments to several posts. The commission was constituted under the provision of the UP Subordinate Service SelectionCommission Act, 2014.
