Najeeb Jung calls for a meeting with CM Arvind Kejriwal to combat air pollution

As the air quality of the National Capital Region is degrading daily causing severe pollution Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung has called a meeting with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to discuss measures to curb pollution.

The meeting has been called on 7 November at 3 pm will take stock of the immediate, short term and long term measures to combat growing air pollution

According to media reports, Lt. Governor has called for a high level meeting to discuss the serious condition of air pollution in Delhi on Monday.

Public Works Department Minister Satyendara Jain, Delhi Environment and Forest Minister Imran Hussain, Union Ministry of Environment and Forest Secretary Ajay Narayan Jha, Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma, Chairman of New Delhi Municipal Corporation and all three Municipal corporations of Delhi will be a part of the meeting.
