A 21-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by three men in a moving car before being dumped near a flyover in Southeast Delhi's Sunlight Colony, in the wee hours of 11 June.

According to a PTI report, the woman said that she had gone to an eatery in Nizamuddin area when the three accused approached her and asked her to come along with them in their car. When she refused, they pulled her inside the vehicle and drove away.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that the men raped her for about two hours and then dumped her near a flyover which was hardly a kilometre away from the Delhi Police headquarters.

The victim also said that the men were not known to her and that she had managed to note down the registration number of the car.

According to a report in The Hindu, the police have seized the car. However, the owner of the car claimed that he was innocent. The police have also reportedly nabbed the two suspects and are currently questioning them.
