Bangladesh beat India by three wickets to clinch the Women's Asia Cup Title Cup 2018. It has been an absolutely nail-biting contest between the two sides and this has brought India's unbeaten streak in the tournament to a halt. Bangladesh became only the team to win Women's Asia Cup Title other than India.

Indian Women's  Captain Harmanpreet Kaur played a fighting captain's knock (56)to put the competitive score 112 for 9 wickets down. Poonam Yadav’s three wickets bring India back in the match.

Six-time Champions, Indian Women's team are set to lock the horns with Bangladesh Women's cricket team to clinch the seventh consecutive title. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first against India Women in the final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018 at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Bangladesh had defeated India which was their first ever defeat in any format. It was Bangladesh women’s first-ever victory against Indian Women's across all format. Bangladesh lost ten back to back T20 games against India since April 2013 prior to this match.
