After India defeated Pakistan in another World Cup clash, Twitter erupted with memes and funny videos. Virat Kohli and company kept the 27-year old record intact as they beat Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS). Rohit Sharma was the star player of the match with his bat while Kuldeep Yadav proved to be lethal with the ball.

Many funny videos are doing round on Twitter and among them is a spoof video of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Malhari’ song. Harbhajan Singh shared the video from his official Twitter handle and captioned it, “Hahaha this is amazing.. super funny. have a look @imVkohli @ImRo45 @msdhoni @imjadeja team india.”


 

The much-anticipated clash of World Cup 2019 took place at Old Trafford, Manchester and team India dominated the match from start to finish. Virat Kohli lost the toss and was asked to bat first by Sarfaraz Ahmed. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul notched up 136-run partnership stand and India’s highest opening partnership against Pakistan in World Cup.

Rohit Sharma hit his 24th century and his second in World Cup 2019. Sharma became the first Indian batsman to hit back-to-back century against Pakistan. Sharma also became the first Indian opener to hit a century against Pakistan in a World Cup match.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli completed his 11,000 ODI runs and became the fastest to achieve the milestone, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Virat reached 11,000 runs in 222 innings while Sachin did it in 276 innings.
