Jasprit Bumrah became a household name after his performances in the Indian Premier League. Known for his Yorkers and wicket taking ability Bumrah became the death over specialist of modern day cricket. Bumrah plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and have risen through ranks to make his place in the Indian team.

Mumbai Indians posted a video of Jasprit Bumrah where the bowler can be seen effortlessly bowling yorkers, a sight that should strike fear into any batsman who will take the field in the upcoming tournament. Take a look at Bumrah’s Yorkers and see if you can count it.


 

Bumrah has taken 63 wickets in 61 IPL matches at an economy rate of 7.81, making him one of the most effective bowlers in the tournament right now. His debut match in 2013 against Royal Challengers Bangalore saw him make an instant impact as he ended the match with figures of 3/32, making him only the second bowler in the tournament to take 3 wickets on debut.

Mumbai Indians have retained their core group of members and will look to win the trophy for the fourth time. Along with skipper Rohit Sharma, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard are some other star players in the team.

The dates for 2019 edition of Indian Premier League have been announced by the organisers. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will play Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener on March 23 in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. Mumbai Indians will play their first match against Delhi Capitals in Wankhede Stadium on March 24.
