Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) shares some of the best moments of the Indian cricket team from 2018. Virat Kohli’s short-arm jab against England got a place in the list while U-19 star Shubhman Gill is also seen producing it in the U-19 World Cup held in New Zealand earlier this year.

Suresh Raina turned into a singer in Sri Lanka while on official tour for the country. Raina is seen singing in the video with some musicians playing in the background. BCCI shared it as one of the best memory of 2018.

BCCI also shared the most viewed video of 2018. The video was of Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja running behind a ball which was moving towards the boundary. In the video both of them were seen running very fast but at the end Ravindra Jadeja surpasses Kohli to catch hold on ball early.

Test cricket’s hallmark event, the Boxing Day Test at the iconic MCG witnessed many records broken by the Indian side. India won the Test by 137 runs after making 443 runs in the first innings and 106 runs in the second innings. Thanks to Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who helped India put on a mammoth target.

Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged as Man of the Match. Bumrah bowled a demolishing spell and took 9 wickets in total. Bumrah also took a five wicket-haul in Australia’s first innings.

India and Australia will play their forth and final Test match starting from January 3 after which they will play a three match ODI series starting from January 12. Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is back in the squad for the ODIs as announced by the BCCI.
