Shaniera Akram, wife of former Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram was all praise for Pakistan cricket team before their match against Australia. Shaniera is from Australia who married Wasim in 2013 and lives in Pakistan with him. After the match which ended with Australia winning it, she tweeted that it's not over yet, aiming towards Pakistan’s match against India.

Shariera took to her official twitter handle to share her feelings and wrote, “It’s not over yet Pakistan. We need to fly the flag higher than ever before ! #CWC2019.” She also defended her previous tweet where she supported Pakistan instead of her home country Australia. She wrote, “A lot of comments surrounding my post yesterday & I completely understand that. To be honest I didn’t know who I was going to support but when I saw our boys in green come out,I felt pride and I’m apart of that now, so I knew then and there who I was supporting.”

“I was born and bred an Australian but I have come to live my life for and with the people of Pakistan. Pakistan has been good to me and plays a big part of who I am today. I love Australia and always will but I am with Pakistan all the way. Pakistan ZINDABAD,” Shaniera added.

Australia thrashed Pakistan by 41 runs after they failed to chase down 308 runs. Pakistan will now face their arch-rival India on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
