After a comprehensive series win against Bangladesh at home, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is having some good time ahead of the T20I series against West Indies and no one can criticize the run machine for taking a time off after guiding the men in blue to their prolonged winning streak in the longest format of the game.
Virat Kohli on Thursday took to his official twitter handle to share a picture with his other-half Anushka Sharma from a movie theater. "About last night. At the movies with this hottie," Kohli captioned the picture, tagging Anushka Sharma.
Earlier, Virat Kohli had also shared a throwback picture from their escapade in Bhutan.
"Walking together in the journey of life with nothing But love @AnushkaSharma," Kohli had captioned the scenic image.
Virat Kohli had made himself unavailable for India’s T20I series against Bangladesh to go on a holiday with wife Anushka Sharma to celebrate his 31st birthday.
The 31 year old recently went on to become the fastest batsman to reach 70 international hundreds, after he knocked 136 in the iconic pink ball Test at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens against Bangladesh.
In doing so, the Indian skipper surpassed former Australian captain Ricky Ponting’s record of 19 Test hundreds as captain. Only South Africa’s Graeme Smith is ahead of kohli with 25 centuries.
Furthermore, Kohli also became the first Indian captain to surpass the 5,000 run mark in Test cricket.
Virat Kohli will be back in action when India will lockhorns with the Caribbean side for the T20I match, starting 6th December.
