Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is ready to go into the T20I series starting tomorrow. Pant was seen practicing in the nets ahead of first T20I match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video on its official Twitter handle, where Pant can be seen smashing a ball with a switch-hit.
The first game of the three-match T20I series will be played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington where both the teams played their last and final ODI match. After Wellington, India will move to Auckland and Hamilton for the rest of the two T20Is.
India have already clinched the five-match ODI series by 4-1 becoming only the third team to achieve this rare feat in New Zealand, the other two teams are Australia and Sri Lanka.
Later this month from February 24, Australia will tour India for three T20Is and five ODIs ahead of the Indian Premier League. This will be an important practice series for India ahead of the ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup.
