Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was knocked down after being hit by a shot that came off the bat of teammate Bhuvneshwar Kumar during the 2nd ODI between India and Australia. The forceful blow floored Pandya, but fortunately, the Indian cricketer survived a serious injury scare.

The incident happened when the game entered in the 47th over of the first inning in the match. On strike player, Bhuvneshwar smashed the ball straight down the ground which hit the all-rounder, who was at the non-striker end.

Pandya fell on the ground after being hit by the powerful blow and other players rushed to his aid immediately. Luckily, Pandya didn't suffer any injury and the game resumed shortly.

India has extended its lead over Australia in the five-match ODI series by 2-1. The men-in-blue were bundled out for 252 runs, while Australia could only post 202 on board letting India win the game by 50 runs.
