The team Sri Lanka has created history in South Africa by winning the first test series in South Africa, with this they also have become the first Asian team to win the series. The team Sri Lanka has won the second test match by 8 wickets and it is their second back to back win against the Proteas followed by the first test.

South Africa after winning the toss played the first inning and made 222 runs, then Sri Lanka came to bat and made 154 runs in the first inning. In the first inning, it was looking like that South Africa is in a great position but in the second inning they totally failed down. In the second inning, South Africa just hit 128 runs and set the target of 197 runs for Sri Lanka.

 

Well, after that thing totally gone worst for South Africa as the team Sri Lanka just made the target easy. Kusal Mendis and Oshada Fernando did 163 runs partnership. Kusal Mendis made 84 runs on 110 balls, whether Oshada Fernando made 75 runs on 106 balls. Sri Lanka made the target easy and they played like a easy win.

Kusal Perera got the tage of Man of the Series for his brilliant performance in the series, while Kusal Mendis won the man of the match for his knock of 84 runs when the team needed it the most. The veteran Sri Lankan players are praising the team for the history creating game and their performance.
