Ravichandran Ashwin adds Bollywood touch to off-spin bowling, shares hilarious picture of Katrina Kaif [Pic]
India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took to his official Instagram handle to share a hysterical images featuring different "actions for off-spin bowlers. A fan compiled some pictures and created a collage showing Ashwin, Graeme Swann and Ramesh Powar in their delivery stride.
Amusingly, the fan also sneaked in a picture of bollywood actor Katrina Kaif striking a dance pose that was very similar to a bowler's delivery action. Ashwin posted the meme on his Instagram story and tagged former India spinner Ramesh Powar and ex-England bowler Graeme Swann.
The off-spinner will be seen featuring for Delhi Capitals this year after leading Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the last two seasons.The Delhi-based franchise brought in Ashwin after a successful trade with KXIP ahead of the annual player action in December 2019.
So far, Ashwin has played 139 IPL matches and has picked up 125 wickets at an average of 26.43 and economy rate of 6.79.
Other players Delhi Capitals have included are Ajinkya Rahane, Ashwin and Marcus Stoinis as they look to lift their first ever IPL title this year. Delhi will come face-to-face with Kings XI Punjab in Dubai on 20th September to start their campaign.
The 13th edition of the cash-rich T20 league is all set to start on Saturday with the defending champions Mumbai Indians facing MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi. The 53-day long T20 tournament will be played across three venues that is Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
