In the first match of the T20 tri-nation series Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 74 runs  and continued their dominance in the shorter format.

 

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan managed to put 182/4 on the board in 20 overs againts Zimbabwe.


Pakistan skipper Sarfraz  Ahmed becomes the most successful skipper after Shahid Afridi. Pakistan registered 20 wins from the 23 T20Is games played while under Shahid Afridi leadership Pakistan registered 19 win from 43 T20Is squad played.

After defeating Zimbabwe, Pakistan become the only team after Afghanistan to have longest winning streak in limited over format. It's Pakistan eight consecutive win in T20Is.
