Pakistan cricket team skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed warned his teammates after their humiliating loss against India in World Cup 2019. Sarfaraz said that he will not be the only one to return to Pakistan and face the wrath of their people.

The Pakistan cricket team came under a lot of scrutiny after they lost the match against India. Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed faced criticism from former cricketers, fans and media. Sarfaraz’s picture of yawning during the match went viral in India with many comparing him with Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar termed Sarfaraz Ahmed as ‘brainless and clueless’ captain. Akhtar went on to criticise the team management and coach Mickey Arthur.

If reports are to be believed, Sarfaraz Ahmed gave a motivational speech to his boy after the loss and said that another loss would mean that their team will be eliminated from the tournament.

India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS) in a rain-hit match after the men in green failed to chase down 336 runs. Indian opener Rohit Sharma was the star of the match with 140 runs off 113 balls and was awarded the man of the match trophy.

Pakistan was looking good after their opener Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman notched up a 100-run partnership but after Babar was dismissed Pakistan lost wickets in regular intervals.
