Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir discloses his secret behind taking wickets

News Agencies | Updated on: 13 July 2019, 15:57 IST

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has unveiled that working on his “form and fitness” allowed him to be Pakistan’s highest wicket taker at the World Cup 2019.

Mohammad Amir registered 17 wickets in eight matches at an average of 21.05 at the World Cup 2019.

But, despite his excellent bowling performance, Paakistan cricket team failed to book their spot for the semi finals because New Zealand had a better net run rate than them.

“I have been playing regular cricket for two to three years due to which my body got tired. However I have finally gotten my rhythm back after working on my form and fitness,” Amir told Essex Cricket TV as quoted by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
