Pakistan cricket team shatter India and Australia's ODI record after series win against Sri Lanka
The return of international cricket to Pakistan just got a lot better. Pakistan not only defeated Sri Lanka in the ODI but in the process they also broke the record of highest number of wins against any opponent in 50 over format.
Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in the third ODI of the significant home series on Wednesday, which was their 92nd win against Sri Lanka, which is a world record.
Previously, Australia won New Zealand and India had defeated Sri Lanka in 91 games each. Austarlia has won 91 out of 137 matches against New Zealand, while on the other hand India has won 91 out of 159 games against Sri Lanka.
However, Pakistan cricket team claimed their 92nd win against Sri Lanka out of 155 games. Pakistan have been defeated in 58 of those games.
Sri Lanka succumbed to five wickets defeat in the third ODI match against Pakistan in Karachi. Winning the three match series 2-0. Pakistan will now face Sri Lanka in three match T20I series in Lahore, starting 4th October.
